Record-breaking traffic growth at Budapest Airport, growing numbers at Cityrama Budapest DMC

2017 was an excellent year in aviation in all respects. 125 destinations in 45 countries were directly accessible from Budapest with 44 airlines, representing the most colorful offer ever. Not only new flights were launched, but seat capacity was also increased on existing routes. New service providers entered the market, and existing ones introduced larger aircraft or increased their flight frequencies. Traffic at Liszt Ferenc International Airport in 2017 grew at an unprecedented pace: 13.1 million passengers used the airport last year.
Cityrama Budapest DMC increased its traffic with selling more airport transfers and expanded its vehicle fleet with buying a new Mercedes Vito and Mercedes Sprinter minivans. They do not charge any extras for early morning or late evening transfers, and air-conditioned vehicles and professional and prompt drivers are guaranteed.

Cityrama Budapest DMC offers even a unique way to get from the airport to the hotel (or back). Trabant transfers are more and more popular among guests and they have even the opportunity to drive an original Trabant.

Why Do Hippos Yawn?

Have you ever wondered why hippos yawn? Legend has it that thousands of years ago Hippos were land dwelling animals but the hot African sun meant they were subject to sunburn on their delicate pink ears. So they called a meeting with God.

At the meeting they asked God if they could spend their days in the cool water of rivers and ponds so they could cool their hot bodies and prevent their delicate pink ears from sunburn. God, at first, was not sure about this. He was worried that the Hippos wanted to feast on the numerous fish in the rivers and ponds. The hippos protested at this assumption.

So they decided to make a deal with God. If he would let them spend their days in the cool water they would several times a day open their mouths toward the heavens and show God they did not have any fish in their mouths.

God thought about this proposal and after some time he agreed. So the hippos entered the water and several times a day opened their mouths to show God that they did not have any fish in their mouths. And all this time you thought hippos were yawning!

Aniyami Brazil is certified as B Corporation

B Corp is a global movement of more than 2,000 companies in 50 countries and 130 sectors working together with one common goal: redefining the meaning of SUCCESS in business.

B Corporations go beyond the goal of generating economic profits while innovating to maximize their positive impact on employees, the communities and the environment. This way, the company becomes a regenerative force for society and for the planet.

This movement represents a fast-growing business community worldwide, from which Aniyami recently got certified and joined with the aim of contributing with its knowledge in the area of sustainable tourism.

In Aniyami we have been working from the beginning with the conviction that success is measured through the positive impact that we can generate around us; and we have based on this premise when it comes to creating and offering our trips, as well as establishing internal and external relationships.

Now is the beginning of a new stage in which Aniyami enters the process of measuring this impact with clearer parameters. This will bring benefits to all including your customers, to whom we will offer more respectful and higher quality experiences in different destinations. Also our team will be more involved actively with social projects in Brazil and we will be able to transmit that proximity to the country’s communities and the environment through our travel proposals.

We are very happy to have found a community to share this ideology and from which we can continue to learn, nourishing ourselves with experiences and ideas that seek to increase the number of companies with social and environmental commitment in the world we inhabit.
